Smooth melting is also used when metallically pure residues of precious metal alloys are melted to produce semi-finished products or ingots.
It is particularly important here that the metal residues are really clean and free from impurities.
Usual quantity for melting: add approx. 20 - 30% of the metal weight of melting powder III
