The polishing drums from Lortone are perfectly suitable for polishing gold, silver, precious stones, minerals, brass, aluminium, other metals, tin, plastic etc.. The drive is via 2 support shafts with ball bearings. The devices are small and handy, require little space and are equipped with rubber drums.

• Rust and oxidation are removed very gently when special ceramics are used.


• The use of stainless steel polishing bodies produces the finest high gloss and the surface is additionally compacted.

The matching grinding wheels are not included in the scope of delivery. The following quantities are required for these barrel (0.8 l):

Ceramic abrasives for fine grinding	approx. 0.8 kg
Steel abrasives for polishing	approx. 1.6 kg
Ceramic abrasives for polishing	approx.. 0.6 kg

Basically the following calculation is valid for the required quantities of abrasives:

Ceramic abrasives for fine grinding	tumbler size in l = needed content in kg
Steel abrasives for polishing	2 tumbler size in l = needed content in kg
Ceramic abrasives for polishing	0,75 x tumbler size in l = needed content in kg
